Egg bread pakora
Ingredients Required for Egg Masala:

  • Boiled egg – 2, slit.
  • Onion – 1, sliced.
  • Ground coriander – ½ tsp.
  • Ground red chili – ½ tsp.
  • Ground cumin – ¼ tsp.
  • Ground garam Masala – 1/8 tsp. option.
  • Salt – to taste.
  • Oil – 1 tbsp.

Ingredients Required for Bread Pakora:

  • Bread slices – 4, remove the brown sides of the bread and the cut desire shape
  • Gram flour – 2 tbsp.
  • Rice flour- 1 tbsp. (optional)
  • Baking soda – pinch.
  • Salt – to taste.

In a bowl, Combine all the above ingredients, mix well together and then add water little by little, mix well.Refer the picture

Preparation Method:

  1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, sauté the onions for a minute then add masala’s and salt to taste, stir, and cover cook until raw smell disappears. It takes approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Then add the boiled egg, mix gently and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a wok, take a half sliced bread, fill with egg masala and cover with another sliced bread, then dip into the batter, coat completely (use both hands.) and then press the all sides, fry until crisp for both sides.
  4. Serve this egg bread pakora for breakfast or evening snack, even pack the lunch for kids either.
